Our Policies

-Bookings require some form of payment in advance. The client may choose to schedule their appointment with a deposit (the remaining balance will be due before the session begins). If the client chooses to pay their session in full in advance, a courtesy discount will apply (please refer to booking app for discount information). Bookings will not be considered successfully completed until the session, date and time has been selected by the client in our app (link) and some form of payment has been provided (whether payment in full or appointment deposit) by the client. We will not be responsible for partially completed bookings without their due payment, therefore these type of bookings will not be honored by the business. The client will be solely responsible and accountable for their bookings (whether partially or successfully completed) and their due payments. However, if you experience any difficulties setting up your appointment, please do contact us for assistance, we will gladly assist you.

-Appointments will have on average an extension of 45 minutes, between the process of completing your health profile, discussing your needs and probable course of action, table setting and post session findings and recommendations. Do keep that in mind when completing your booking to ensure you have ample time for us to complete all necessary and/or required steps before and after treatment. We do not accept same day appointments, as the nature of our mobile business requires preparation prior to any and all services. If you are having an emergency, please head to the nearest hospital or contact 911. We'd like to remind you we are health professionals providing premium mobile services, therefore taking our time to responsibly asses and treat you it's non-negotiable for us, as we take your health and well being extremely serious. We trust you will not only understand the purpose of our procedures, but will come to love the results of such detailed care as well.

-Cancellation Policy will enable the client to reschedule or cancel their originally scheduled appointment as follows:

  • A client may reschedule or cancel their appointment once, without additional charge, in a 24+ hour window prior to their scheduled appointment.
  • Reschedules completed in less than 24 hours will incur in $35.00 surcharge.
  • Any and all cancelations completed in less than 48 hours (up to 24 hours prior to the appointment) will incur in a $35.00 surcharge. Cancellations in less than 24 hours will be considered "no-shows" .
  • No-calls/no-shows will owe the selected service in full and any or all payments completed in advance will not be credited; with the sole exception of package's purchased, in which case the client will have a credit available for the remaining balance after deducting the missed appointment. 

-Credits & Refunds

  • KHB does not refund payments made unless it was an error or omission on our part. Payments made in excess by the client will qualify for a credit for future use.
  • Any and all services, offers, gift certificates and/or packages must be paid in full prior to receiving the service selected.
  • Any and all credits will be subject to our rules of expiration according to the initially selected purchase.
  • Special offers and/or regular appointments purchased will have 30 calendar days to be utilized before being considered forfeited.
  • Gift certificates purchased will have 90 calendar days to be utilized before they are considered expired and funds are forfeited
  • Service packages will have 42 calendar days to be consumed in full. Any and all services not scheduled within the given window will not be considered for credit or reimbursement. 

-We reserve the right to 

  • Refuse giving a service (independently of whether the payment was partially or fully completed) if our initial assessment or evaluation of the client reveals there's a contraindication (aneurysm, recent fracture, hemorrhage, active internal infection, skin infection or burns, thrombophlebitis, malign tumor, skin eruptions, general tumors and or pregnancy before the 3rd trimester) to safely complete the service requested. A medical waiver may be required from your PCP or a Specialist, to ensure your safety before intervening with you. Only on these scenarios an exception to the "credits & reimbursements" policy will apply and only as follows: The client will be able to reschedule their appointment to a later date, following Doctor's recommendations, which will be informed in writing on the waver; from which date the "credits & reimbursements" policy will resume as previously established.
  • "KHB" reserves the right to change it's offers, packages, pricing, services and policies without previous consent of it's clients or  previous notice and any and all administrative decisions will be irrefutable. Any offer, service, package or gift certificate already purchased prior to the change will be honored at it's original cost and no additional charge shall apply, unless an unpaid "add-on" or service is requested. 
  • "KHB" reserves the right to terminate a service being provided or a client relation if at any given time the client violates our "no sexual harassment-no soliciting" policy. Any suggestion, insinuation, comment or action emitted in a sexual manner or illicit intent will result in immediate termination of the therapy and any and all amounts paid for the service will be non-refundable (nor will they qualify for future credit). A police report will be filed for the incident, conforming the prostitution laws of the "ELA" (Estado Libre Asociado) of Puerto Rico.
